Zabrze Cable Factory is a new cable factory producing flexible power and control cables up to 1 kV under the Electro Cable Group ® brand.

The history of the Electro Cable Group ® brand began in 1991, and today the Electro Cable Group ® brand unites production and trading companies in Bulgaria, Poland and Ukraine.

Today more than 90% of copper cables exported from Ukraine to the European Union are made under the Electro Cable Group ® brand.

Zabrze Cable Factory is in the Silesian Metropolis, with a population of over 2.7 million, making it one of the largest urbanised areas in Europe. The Zabrze Cable Factory has the best location for business the heart of the region in Zabrze, a town known for its long industrial traditions. The project is being implemented with the support of Polska Strefa Inwestycij and Katowice Specjalna Strefa Ekonomiczna.

The plant is located in the premises of CTP Park Zabrze (CTP is one of the largest developers of industrial parks in Europe), 20 km from the centre of Katowice, at the crossroads of the A1 and A4 motorways connecting the industrial park with industrial clusters in Germany, Czechia and Slovakia.

The new plant was built with the application of leading modern technologies and using the most advanced equipment from recognised world leaders: Niehoff, Mallifer, Mario Frigerio and PS Contruzioni.

The plant’s design production capacity is 450 tonnes of cable per month.
